“Honest Internet Business Opportunities - How to Get Started in the Information Business Today!”
By James Teale

As far as honest internet business opportunities go, there’s really no better place to start than the information marketing business.

You see, it’s no coincidence that we’re smack bang in the middle of the information age, at the time of writing this article, and that the information marketing business itself is already a multi-trillion dollar industry.

Long story short, if you can provide people with a solution to a problem or give accurate advice on how to do things correctly in a certain area of interest, then the chances that people will gladly pay you for this information are very high.

What’s more, if you can present this information as a medium that can be easily consumed by your customers, and automatically sent to them upon receipt of purchase over the internet, then you can be making money online 24 hours a day, every day of the week This is where the phrase “make money while you sleep” comes from!

With recent advances in technology and software, there’s a whole range of media you can now use to quickly deliver information to your customers. This includes ebooks, short online reports, audio recordings/interviews, podcasts, screen capture videos… and many more.

As a staring point, it’s best to find out what method(s) you’re comfortable with using and go from there. For example, if you like writing… then create an ebook. If you don’t like writing, then you can quickly and easily make an audio recording or a screen capture video. Just as long as you can communicate the all-important information to your customers then that’s all that matters.

With just one information product you can be making more than enough money to earn a full time income online, and start building a business that will put you on the direct path that eventually leads to financial freedom.

My Internet Business - Starting an Online Business

“My Internet Business - Starting an Online Business”
By Khumo Pholo

Starting an online business used to be a very difficult task with many people not really knowing exactly where to start. Nowadays you can easily just go to any major search engine, type in the search term “starting an online business” and go on from there. Starting a business online is a different experience for every individual. Some people have an idea of what sort of business they would like to be involved in. This is the stage where you begin your research, find out what products and services are available and how they would benefit you and your business. You’re sure to come across tons of opportunities, and don’t be surprised when you find yourself on a website with a sales letter, ever so compelling, telling you that their product is by far the best and that if you take out your credit card and buy immediately you will get a good deal. 90% of the time it’s absolute rubbish.

A lot of people out there have no shame, they will say and do whatever it takes to get you to part with your hard earned money. Be cautious. I can’t stress this enough. Forewarned is forearmed. This is how it is with most online business opportunities, a non-stop rollercoaster of product and/or service presentations with you in the front seat. This could be somewhat overwhelming at first, take a deep breath, focus on what you’re really looking for, proceed. Remember, this is not a race, take your time. If you feel desperate or rushed, then you are not ready.

1.Do you have a business plan? - Business online is still business. You need a plan if you’re ever going to succeed. Having a business plan helps you follow a set of guidelines that lead to the growth of your business. It’s like having your very own success blueprint.

2.Your budget? - The amount of money you set aside for starting your online business will play a major role in helping you decide on the best course of action. You should structure your business according to your capabilities, not what the other guy is doing. If on a shoestring budget you can start off by selling other peoples’ products. Become an affiliate. Since this is a business, you will still need to find a good domain name, plus hosting.

3.Building your website - You do not have a second chance to make a first impression, make it count. It’s all about presentation. Your site should be user-friendly, easy to read and navigate. It helps to have cool graphics but that can come later. For now focus on the quality of your products and/or services. Include all major methods of payment such as credit cards and paypal, google checkout etc.

3.Promote your business - Start off with free methods of promotion, such as, search engine optimization, link exchanges, blogging, social bookmarking sites, article and video marketing.

4.Build your list - Every successful business has a list of clients that are repeat customers. As your business grows, invest in an autoresponder and stay in touch with your visitors. Your clients are people, give them a reason to return to your site and perhaps even invite their friends.

5.Track your efforts - Know where your customers are coming from and what they like. Owning an online business has many advantages. Your website is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your customers aren’t limited to any geographic location and therefore your client base hails from all corners of the globe. Be sure to have some kind of tracking code installed on your web pages.

6.Reinvest in your business - Feed your business and it will grow. Be reasonable with the amount of money you take out from your business.

Take action and start an internet business today.

To your success,

Khumo Pholo

Start a Home Based Business on the Internet - Here’s 3 Ways to Get Started Fast!

December 31st, 2008

“Start a Home Based Business on the Internet - Here’s 3 Ways to Get Started Fast!”
By James Teale

If you’ve reached the decision to start a home based business on the internet, then here’s 3 ways that will help you quickly get started today:

1. Become an affiliate

This is probably the quickest way to start a home based business on the internet because you don’t need to spend time creating your own products, providing support to customers, or even have your own website.

You simply need to spend a small amount of time finding quality products that cure a specific problem that people will gladly pay to have solved… and then help the seller promote their product by signing up to their affiliate program.

As an affiliate you’ll typically earn 50% of every sale that you generate and it’s also made a lot easier with the help of affiliate promotional tools provided by the seller.

2. Create your own product

Another route to take if you want to start a home based business on the internet is to bite the bullet and create your own product. It can be in the form of an ebook, a short report, a video, an audio interview… etc. As long as it provides a solution to a specific problem then the only limit on how you deliver your content is your imagination.

Now, if this is your first time tackling anything like this then it might take some time to create your first product — if you don’t like writing then I’d definitely suggest a video, or audio interview. However, the advantage of this compared to becoming an affiliate is that you can sell your product and keep 100% of the profits… and you’ll also be creating a long-term business asset that will be more profitable for you in the long run.

Look at it this way, would you rather be one of many affiliate promoting someone else’s product… or would your rather have many affiliates promoting your product?

3. Create a membership site

This is another popular method for people who are looking into how to start a home based business on the internet. The beauty of creating a membership site is that you can create a residual income for yourself and rely on repeat custom from the same people. This means that you don’t have to put so much effort into finding more customers because you’ll have continual payments coming in from the same people every month.

What’s more, a membership site doesn’t necessarily have to provide written content, or even learning of any kind (although many do.) It could simply be a paid forum where members can congregate and network for a small monthly fee.

Bottom line: if you want to start a home based business on the internet, then the only real limit is your imagination.

Internet Business Tips - The 3 Things You Need to Do to Build a Real Business Online

December 31st, 2008

“Internet Business Tips - The 3 Things You Need to Do to Build a Real Business Online”
By Fabian Tan

To build a real Internet business that succeeds, there are generally 3 things that you need to do. All successful Internet businesses usually possess at least 2, if not all 3 of the things I’m about to tell you. If you want to build your business overnight, concentrate on these 3 things now:

1. Create Your Own Website

You need to have your own website to build a real brand online. You can’t do it by promoting affiliate products for the rest of your life. So you have got to get a website at some time. If you don’t have any money now, start out with affiliate marketing, make a few sales, then re-invest it into your business by getting your own website.

2. Get An Autoresponder

The guys who are making the big sales from online marketing all have a big email list. Even eBay and Amazon grabs the email addresses of new members to send them updates every once in a while! You can make thousands per email once you have built a large, responsive list. The first step is to get an autoresponder. Aweber and Get Response are two industry leaders in the autoresponder market.

3. Get Traffic!

The third thing you need to concentrate on is getting traffic. Traffic is like water for living things. You can’t survive without it. So you have to got think real deep about how you are going to get unique, targeted traffic to your website. What are some things you can do to get traffic? Think article marketing, AdWords ads, ezine ads, forum marketing, and joint ventures!

Make More Money With Your Internet Home Business

December 31st, 2008

“Make More Money With Your Internet Home Business”
By Tanny Lahav

Many people start a business online to make more money. They want to create better life for themselves and for their family and starting an internet home business is the easy step. However only few businesses succeed and most of them fail.

There are many reasons for an internet business to fail to make money. This article will give you five tips on how to create a successful home business and make more money from it.

Tip number 1: Your costumers need to see the benefits and not the features. When you are trying to sell, showing the benefits is important. Yes, your costumer wants to know what the features of your product are, but the costumer also wants to know how this product is going to benefit him, what makes this product better than others and this is the only thing you need to show him.

Tip number 2: Try pre selling your products. It is important because you need to give your future costumers enough information on the product before they buy it. Many internet marketers try to sell the products directly without pre selling - they fail. Those who succeed are those who used the pre sell and gave costumers enough information on the products. These costumers didn’t leave the website and did buy the products.

Tip number 3: Try to start your new business in a niche with high demand products. The higher the demand is for the products, the better chances you will have to sell it. After you have some experience in internet marketing you can go ahead and start working in different niches with lower demand.

A little research will help you find the best niche for you, do the research and see what’s in demand. Search the internet; see what is being advertised on TV and in the newspapers. One good resource to search is Google Trends, where you can view what people are searching for with top search engine in the world.

Tip number 4: Try to offer your costumers multiple ways to pay. PayPal is one way you must offer them, as this is a fast way to process payments and they accept major credit cards too, and they also offer your customers protection. However you can use other services that are just like Pay Pal. Another way is to allow people to pay you by check or COD if your product lends itself to this type of payment processing. If you want to make money online with your internet home business, you must make it easy for people to do business with you.

Tip number 5: This is the last tip and the most important one. You need to do something for your business. It is one thing to join affiliate programs and starting a home business and it is another thing to help it succeed.

An online business is not different from any other business and it needs work. Your website needs traffic. You need visitors to come to your website, learn about it, see your products and buy them.

If you follow these tips you will make more money from your internet home business.

Best Internet Business Idea For You: How To Find It

December 31st, 2008

“Best Internet Business Idea For You: How To Find It”
By Christopher Kyalo

It may surprise you to learn that the best Internet business idea for you is the one that you will have most fun doing. This is the first and most important rule when it comes to selecting the best Internet business idea.

Many businesses have survived and thrived on nothing else but enthusiasm on the part of the founder. Yet any level of enthusiasm is impossible if you are dealing with a business you hate. What’s more the World Wide Web has made it very easy for anybody to thrive with the sort of Internet business idea that they love and understand best. All one has to do is launch a web site, blog site or email newsletter on the subject of their choice. And once they have some reasonable traffic, there are a host of ways that they can use to earn money running an Internet business based on stuff that they love.

The other really important factor in finding the best Internet business idea for you is that there has to be a good marketing system in place. You have to have a plan or idea of the best way to generate traffic to your Internet business, or subscribers to your email newsletter. Always remember that without traffic, you do not have an Internet business, even if you started off with the best idea in the world.

Starting You Own Internet Business - Advice For Third Agers

December 31st, 2008

“Starting You Own Internet Business - Advice For Third Agers”

By Frank Bonkowski

Have you ever heard of the term “encore career”? It is an expression that Marc Freedman uses to describe ways baby boomers are reinventing themselves in “retirement.” Here are some suggestions, based on the experience of my partner, Dr. Fred, and myself, for coming up with your own Internet business idea.

Come up with an idea
Two years ago I was a participant in a group coaching session given by Dr. Fred. It brought together business owners, both men and women, and freelance consultants like myself looking for new perspectives and directions on their business and life challenges. Dr. Fred talked about the prospects facing people in the “Third Age” (their 50s, 60s and 70s), just like ourselves. We had the chance of living another 30 years - a period providing unexpected opportunities and exciting challenges. Dr. Fred referred to experts like Dr. William Sadler of the Third Age Centre, who wrote extensively about Third Agers creatively redesigning their lives and making it a time of fulfillment. Wow! That made us feel good. Dr. Fred threw out the challenge of starting an Internet business focusing on the interests and needs of men and women in “the Third Age.” Mark Yerbury, at the time owner of a small publishing company and now director at Dale Carnegie in Montreal, and I took up the challenge. Yes! So with all the energy and enthusiasm the three of us could muster, we decided to start an Internet business.

Research Your Options
Dr. Fred, Mark and I began by looking at various ways of producing information products and services directed at Third-Agers. We wanted, of course, to capitalize on our knowledge, expertise and communication abilities. We thought of writing an e-book; so we listened to tele-seminars given by such experts as John Eggen. We also read his “55 Time-Tested Information Products and Programs” which opened up a whole world of possibility for us. We also thought of creating a membership site for people in the Third Age. Reading the very informative blog, Copyblogger, put together by Brian Clark we were led to Clark’s outstanding “Teaching Sells” program (unfortunately it’s closed to new members).

Ask Yourself the Right Questions
Then we put on our thinking caps and consulted different business planning books. We realized that we needed to have a clear business plan. focusing on vision, mission, objectives, strategies and plans. We also asked ourselves key questions from a long list provided by Small Biz University. Here are some that they recommended answering before embarking on your business:

What business are you in?

Why are you in this business?

What will it give you personally?

Do you intend to make this business your life’s work?

What is the company mission?

What pain does your product or service eliminate or reduce?

How will you get a 1000 perspective visitors in what you offer?

What can you do to make your success an absolute certainly.

Take Small Steps
You need to come up with an action plan and speak to self-employed business people. One of the first action steps that Dr. Fred, Mark and I took was to produce a 20 minute webinar, “The Third Age and Reinventing Aging,” in which I interviewed Dr. Fred about the “Rising Energy Model of those in the Third Age.” This webinar whet our collective appetite to share more of our expertise and experience in dealing with Third-Age issues. We also consulted savvy Internet-minded business people for advice on marketing and technical issues, people we trusted in “Business Network International” and other networking groups who believed in “giver’s gain”: the philosophy of caring and sharing generously to help others in their path to success.

Use the Right Business-Building Tools
Here are some important criteria for choosing the best tools for building your Internet business. You want to find and use a tool that:

* will allow you to build your own unique content on your own website by espousing the highest quality standards;

* makes available useful information, tips and strategies for developing content and building traffic;

* lays out a clear path for attaining the results that you are aiming for;

* provides the programming and design knowledge that you need to get your website up and running;

* automates the house-keeping tasks of site promotion and management;

* helps you turn your knowledge and expertise into an income-generating, theme-based affiliate site;

* provides support through forums and discussions;

* illustrates clearly how to do things, preferably through case studies

So go ahead. Create your own business. Write about what you know and love. Work from home or wherever your heart desires (may I suggest Mexico?). Be your own boss. Do the work you have always wanted to do. And earn passive income to boot.
